Certainly Long Island native and amateur standout, Annie Park would have preferred to play the weekend at the 2013 U.S. Open, but hopefully Annie left picturesque Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton with her head held high and the confidence that she has a bright future on the horizon.

Tuesday Apr 30, 2013
Tuesday Apr 30, 2013
In this episode Bob Bubka, Woody Lashen, and I talk about the USGA's decision on anchored putting, Shinnecock Hills GC, National Golf Links of America, and golf on Long Island. The golfing world knows Bob Bubka as the voice of the golf world on the SiriusXM PGA Tour channel , but few may know that he grew up in Sag Harbor on the east end of Long Island. Needless to say, Bob is very familiar with all that is great about golf on Long Island. I met Bob at this year’s Barclays tournament at Bethpage and I must say the experience was enlightening. Not only is he a wealth of information about the golf industry and golf on Long Island, but he is a true gentleman as well.
